Activities to do on site include exploring the extensive gardens and lake, birdwatching, wildflower and bushwalks. Children will enjoy looking for marron in the lake and river, feeding the ducks, night spotting for possums and bandicoots or watching the kangaroos.

You can spend a quiet afternoon by the waterfall sampling the local wines, or enjoying a BBQ at the BBQ gazebo with friends. Many a lazy Summer afternoon has been spent indulging in a game of cricket or football on the mown lawns, or in Winter sipping a glass of red by a cosy fire.

Further afield, there are our wineries to explore, where you can lunch at some of the best award-winning restaurants in Australia, or be picked up at your cottage by one of the many wine/brewery or food tours available. There are also adventure tours, bush tucker and cave tours, or you can design your own tour if the mood takes you.

The area is known for its gourmet food, so you should indulge in some tastings at some of the local producers. Buy direct and enjoy meeting the creators of these wonderful products, such as cheese and yoghurt, olive oil, jams, vinegars, pickles, chocolates, coffee, and venison to name a few. Enjoy your purchases in the evening on the balcony of your cottage as you watch the sun setting over the river valley.
